What are they thinking?

Recently, on the news was Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the head International Monetary Fund who committed a sexual assault/harrasment to a hotel employee and kept on denying and saying it was a set up because he's the front runner candidate for France's next President. Then now, it's Anthony Wiener a congressman from New York who tweeted a shirtless and in underwear photo of him to a woman or women. He lied to the public and attempted to cover up the scandal because he never asked the Feds to look into his case which he claimed as having a 'hacked account' instead he referred to his lawyers. Public perception on these two men were so high, they were regarded as smart and intelligent but on 'sex issues', they failed. Their mind went down below their waistline. What were they thinking? Wiener said 'this was me doing a dumb thing and doing it repeatedly and lying about it', he lied then apologetic right now. What are the other stupid things he did repeatedly that were not yet revealed? I read that he is planning to run as Mayor in 2013 in New York. How can the New Yorkers elect someone without integrity, he lied, he tried to cover up and now that he's caught, he apologized. How can you trust a person like that? Yeah, lots of men do the same but the difference is he pretended that his account was hacked, then admit it, then apologize then NOT RESIGNING. Tsk,Tsk,Tsk it shows that the only thing politicians concern about is themselves.
