I watched Diane Sawyer's interview of Jaycee Dugard who was kidnapped when she was 11 years old and held for 18 years. There are lots of things stolen from her, her education, her JS Prom experience, first driving experience, her own car, college life and suitors-courtship-relationship. I pity her for what she's been through and admire her for her courage to survive and keeping faith/hope alive. My heart breaks when I saw her mother talking about not having her for 18 years, it's a dying experience. But their love for each other saves them and now making up for the lost times with Jaycee's 2 daughters. She gave birth to her first daughter at the age of 13 without her loved ones. She underwent the labor pains alone and survived. Hats off to Jaycee for choosing to survive and keeping her two daughters unharm. Prayers for them so they can continue their lives and gradually bring it back to normal.
