Agaisnt Abortion

We visited my mother in law in the hospital because she's having pain in her stomach and they started to take some tests on her and will know results tomorrow. We're hoping and praying that it's not serious. While we're on the cafeteria, two ladies were talking so loud, one of the ladies is planning have an abortion. We heard her saying 'I don't need this now, I have lots of things to do in my life and besides he (referring to the father) is not ready for this and I don't want to lose him (the guy) if I continue this (pointing to his tummy) he will leave me. Hubby and I are both catholic and strong believer that God lends us our lives and we don't have any right to end it nor end someone's life. I don't know I really can't understand why someone would commit abortion. If you got pregnant because you were raped, you can sacrifice 9 months to bear that child and after that you could put that child into adoption if your reason is that child brings back a horrible past. If you're suffering from any illness, for the purpose of not transmitting that illness to your child, abortion still not the answer. Miracles do happen, you can never tell, your child might be well. There are lots of women who were dying to conceive, spending all their fortune just to bear a child unfortunately there are lots of women too who sacrifice the other person/innocent child for the good of themselves / satisfy their self-centeredness. With this, I am reposting an article about a woman asking for abortion.

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:
'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.'
So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?'
She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'
The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.'
She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.
Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.'
The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!'
'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.'
The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.
He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

God gave us people to love and things to use and not things to love and people to use. It sad but it's happening, people are focus on materials things and whoever or whatever hinders between them and love for material things, usually dumped, ignored and worst, aborted. I am forever agaisnt abortion because bearing a child is the greatest gift and privilige given by GOD to a woman.
