Christmas Get Together

I'm so fortunate to have a very close knit family here in USA. Like Filipinos, my American families see each other on important ocassions like New Year, birthdays, father's day, mother's day, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We're usually complete on most of these occasions and recently we have our christmas family dinner get together held in my sister inlaw's residence. Lots of food, catching up with each others' activities, kids playing and exchanging gifts. My son received lots of gifts and there's a similar present with what he got last year. I'm planning to return and exchange it with a different one and hopefully I could be allowed because I lost the gift receipt and not be accused of stealing it, lol! It's nice to see that our gifts for our nieces and nephews were very much liked and appreciated. Christmas should be more of giving than receiving because that's what symbolizes the birth of Jesus. God the father sent/gave his only son for us, in order to save us from our sins. I hope your Christmas was filled with love and happiness.
