Tuna with chayote, Oatnut bread and green tea

I'm serious about shedding some pounds and eating healthy food.  It's hard at first especially for Asian (Filipina) like me who loves eating rice and pasta noodles, fried/greasy food and usually salty ones but it's a matter of getting used without them. I always check food labels, the calories and sodium. I stay away from processed food and focus on more veggies and fruits. It's been a month and half that I don't drink soda (diet coke), I was able to control myself even I was superly craving for its taste. I am on water and green tea. I must admit I miss french fries, hash brown, bagels, muffins, donuts, cakes, cookies, chips and soda but they are not good for me so it somehow relieved me from regretting not eating them. I need to shed a 15-20 pounds to be at my ideal weight. I practice having dinner before 6pm so there's time to burn calories before I go to bed and whenever I crave for something at night, I just scoop 2 tablespoon of cereal without milk and a cup of tea. I'm crossing  my finger that I could finally say 'YES!, I did it". I believe everyday you always wake up with hope and dream is always free which people couldn't take a way from you 'your hope and your dream'.
