Today is the actual birthday of my father in law and he turned 70 years old. We had our pre-celebration last April 1 because some of my sis/bro-inlaws have other commitments and can't make it today. It was a simple brunch party and we're all complete. The grandkids were all there and sang happy birthday to him in various tunes which are so cute and funny to listen. Most of his gifts were gift vouchers / cards / certificate. We don't know what else he needs because he can afford to buy anything he wants so we just gave him a gift certificate for overnight stay for two in a famous hotel/spa near their place. It was too late when I remember that my father in law is into coin collection and we could have given him military coin instead, which will surely be loved by him. We ran out of time because we anticipated that it will be today and not earlier. Anyway, we could give it on christmas or maybe this father's day.
